Yes, but the looney tunes of the left sure didn't waste time blaming the righty's did they? That is one of the problems. Make up news, keep the sheeple's mind off of the problems we have facing us. Example: Paris Hilton, Brittney, other stupid idiots, etc.

What about health care, price of gasoline, taxes, corruption, etc that is going on, starting with Vancouver, Clark county, WA, and of course the Federal level? Christ, get a life will you?

Labeling people is one of the ways we all distract ourselves from our real problems. This was apparently (it is not known for sure and may never be clear) a mistake made by an Air America talk show host who over speculated on the air:

Late Tuesday Elliott issued a statement saying, I shouldn't have speculated based on hearsay that Randi Rhodes had been mugged and that it may have been an attack from a right-wing hate machine. I apologize for jumping to conclusions based on an emotional reaction.

Given Randi's "in your face" attitude and the lack of information about what happened, it is understandable that other people jumped also to the possibly wrong conclusion based on Elliot's misstatements.
